Ezequiel (Zeke) Hart, Senior Managing ConsultantZeke is an expert in project management, with a special focus on evaluating the environmental impacts of clients’ supply chain and operations, including greenhouse gases. Since joining Viridis in 2007, he has managed projects focused on environmental diagnostic assessment, environmental strategy development, program implementation support, reporting/disclosure, carbon strategy, and climate policy. Zeke has worked with clients in the apparel, personal care, beverage, oil and gas, and aviation industries. He has more than ten years of experience in consulting, project management, and market research. Prior to joining Viridis, he was a Managing Consultant in IBM's Global Business Services’ Strategy & Change practice. Zeke also worked as an economic consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, French, and Italian, he spent much of his childhood on a family farm in Brazil, lived in Niger, studied in Italy, and interned with USAID in Burundi. Zeke holds a B.A. from Haverford College, a Master’s degree in international relations from Tufts’ Fletcher School, and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth. |

Sandra Lauterbach, Senior Managing ConsultantSandra has over 15 years of experience developing and implementing corporate strategies and specific expertise in developing comprehensive, business-focused environmental strategies. Since joining Viridis Strategy Group, Sandra has consulted on a range of environmental issues including analyzing the implications of environmental and climate change policies, implementing successful communications and employee engagement programs and developing strategic environmental partnerships. Sandra has managed projects with clients in the financial services, oil and gas, personal care, and chemical sectors. |

B. Britten (Britt) Harter, Managing ConsultantTrained as a research scientist, Britt has made a career out of understanding, explaining, and solving complex environmental problems. Since joining Viridis Strategy Group in 2007, Britt has worked with clients in the apparel, technology, construction, personal care, finance, and food industries. He is expert in helping companies understand their environmental impacts, including lifecycle assessment, carbon footprinting, and value chain analysis. The winner of numerous internationally-competitive scientific research grants, Britt’s research has been published in several leading academic journals including Marine Ornithology and Ostrich. Britt holds a B.S. from Yale University in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and an M.Sc. from the University of Manitoba in Biological Science. |

Brian Duggan, Director of Thought Leadership ProgramsBrian’s expertise is in forging alliances. His three decades of experience at the juncture of sustainability and business includes an extensive background in collaborative and cause-marketing, as well as sponsorships and partnerships of all kinds. Among his current areas of focus is the changing role of events and in-person meetings in an increasingly online world. Brian has developed and implemented Thought Leadership programs for clients including Harvard Business School Publishing, Federated Media, EarthDay 1990, The Sierra Club, Global Giving, Eco Expo, Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, Palladium Group, Fast Company, and many others, which have gone on to serve a wide array of leading brands. |

Hannah Doran, Program Manager - Sustainability Innovators Working GroupHannah provides day-to-day management of the Sustainability Innovators Working Group, bringing the perspective of her study and work in the social and environmental aspects of sustainability. Before joining Viridis, Hannah was a Consultant with Sustainable Business Strategies, helping companies build their sustainability programs. Hannah also worked for the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, where she tracked sustainability developments and trends and identified best practices in corporate citizenship for the Global Benchmarking Initiative. Hannah holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Melbourne Business School. |

Alicia Chin, Research AssociateAlicia brings experience in environmental markets, climate change management, and socially responsible investments to Viridis. Alicia previously worked at First Environment, where she advised project developers pursuing verification under various carbon registries and was a Lead Verifier for greenhouse gas inventories and offsets for landfill and livestock projects. Her experience focused on best business practices in relation to climate change, as well as environmental policy and carbon markets. She is also a LEED-AP concentrating in New Construction. Alicia interned with the World Resources Institute, focusing on ecosystem markets, and with both Innovest Strategic Value Advisors and the Calvert Group, where she worked on socially responsible investment and shareholder advocacy. She holds a B.A. in government with a minor in environmental studies from Georgetown University. |

Yamama Raza, Research AssociateYamama’s background combines engineering, science and policy, giving her experience in both technical and qualitative analysis. She joined Viridis Strategy Group in August 2009, after completing her M.S. degree in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at MIT, her area of study was Energy and Climate Policy, and she worked as a research assistant within the Carbon Capture and Sequestration Group in the MIT Energy Initiative. Her research work and Master’s thesis focused on the quantitative analysis of scientific uncertainty in basin-scale capacity estimates and the leakage potential for storage of carbon dioxide in saline aquifers, and a qualitative analysis of the regulatory and policy implications of this uncertainty. Prior to MIT, Yamama obtained her B.S. in Engineering Science from Smith College, where she participated in a year-long project sponsored by the Sustainable Strategies Group at Ford Motor Company. |

Barrett Lawson, Research AssociateBarrett’s background combines training in ecology and economics, allowing him to bring a nuanced understanding of sustainability issues to Viridis. Prior to joining Viridis, Barrett honed his writing and research skills while working on his book, A Bird-Finding Guide to Costa Rica, published by Cornell University Press (2009). During his years in Costa Rica, Barrett also guided natural history tours and lectured on tropical ornithology for graduate and undergraduate courses for the Organization for Tropical Studies, administered by Duke University. Barrett received a B.A. from Bowdoin College, with a major in Biology and a minor in Economics. He received the Kent Island Fellowship, which supported his field research on the breeding behavior of American Redstarts. |

Jennifer Webber, Client Relationship ManagerJennifer comes to Viridis with a background in natural resource use, energy efficiency, and environmental politics. Prior to joining Viridis, she worked for the National Association of Counties, assisting local governments with energy benchmarking, analysis, and conservation efforts. Jen lived in rural Ecuador, where she worked with the local community to develop sustainable forestry and agrarian practices. Prior to Ecuador, she interned for Congressman John Sarbanes on Capitol Hill and at the U.S. Department of the Interior, assisting with the communications response to the Gulf Oil spill. She holds a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in International relations with minors in Environmental Science and Economics. |
