The Sustainability Innovators Working Group (SIWG) was launched in the summer of 2010 to provide a forum for companies with leading positions in corporate sustainability to work together to move environmental management and broader sustainability efforts to a higher plane. The Group brings together top-level executives with sustainability responsibilities to exchange views, compare experiences, share perspectives, and work together to advance thinking about sustainability management.
Each Sustainability Innovators Working Group comprises CSO-level executives from a dozen major corporations that have been recognized for leadership in corporate sustainability. Members leverage their collective wisdom and experience along with Viridis faculty and consultants to expand the body of sustainability management knowledge in an executable format. The yearlong program relies on a variety of methods to share data, ideas, frameworks, best practices, and perspectives. The membership experience includes three in-person day and a half meetings, regular webinars, and direct assessment work between member organizations and the Viridis team.
